No special licence is required- you will be surprised how imple it is to drive. Our friendly staff provide you with full instructions of the vessel operation, then your off to explore the Mighty Murray River. You can cruise up stream past the Old Echuca Port, then onto the Barmah Forest. Houseboats are not allowered to be past the Barmah Bridge. Downstream towards Torrumbarry Weir, the river widens, with its low grassy banks and willow trees becoming a feature. It is also the perfect waterskiing location with its long, straight stretches of river. If is land activity your missing our local clubs Rich River Golf Club, Moama Bowling Club or the Echuca-Moama RSL Club all offer a courtesy pick up service. So give them a call and enjoy a round of golf, a game of bowls or a lunch or dinner. Or discover the many different wineries we have in the area. You can do a lot or just relax aboard your luxury Executive Houseboats. Executive Houseboats offer two types of boats, Deck Plan A and Deck Plan 8. Both offering: Licensed to carry 8 or 12 people. Wall to wall carpet throughout the boat. Large lounge with bar area and dining area. Audio system with CD player, select the speakers in the lounge, back deck and/or the Top Deck. Mobile phone (put sim card in and use our powerful system.) Plan A- 4 double bedrooms 2 with single bunk over d/bed & sofa beds in lounge room. Plan B- 4 Queen bedrooms & sofa beds in lounge room. All linen supplied. Fully equipped kitchen with 2 fridges/freezers . gas oven, microwave & dishwasher. Fresh drinking water. Laundry facilities. Top deck features a large fibre glass canopy for all weather use, 8 person heated spa pool, sun lounges, gas BBQ, outdoor furniture, lights, stereo speakers, ice boxes & sink with cold and hot running water for your convenience. Diesel inboard engine. Hush power generator. 12 volt and 240 volt lighting & power. Waterways NSW staety equipment. All weather fiberglass roof top with sliding windows. Directions: On arrival to Echuca cross over the bridge to Moama and drive through the main street, Meninya St. Turn left down Perricoota Road and then again turn left down Merool Lane. Drive down Merool Lane to the accommodation property Merool on the Murray. We are moored within this property. All bookings commence at 3.00pm and the houseboat must be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure. 2. A Deposit of $500.00 within 7 days of booking is required as confirmation. Full payment of the hire is due 8 weeks in advance of the hire date non payment by this date will be taken to be a cancellation. BOND of $800.00 is payable on arrival and will be refunded within 48 hours less fuel and any damage or excessive cleaning if boat is left in a dirty condition. SINGLE SEX GROUPS will pay $1 500.00 bond on arrival. 3. Cancellation of bookings. There will be no refund of money until the original booking has been re-booked by another party for the full period and hire value. 4. Fuel used during the hire period will be paid for by the hirer at the completion of holiday. 5. Number of people- must not exceed the number of berths allowed for under the Waterways NSW. 6. Drivers- anyone who drives the houseboat must be 18 years of age or over and must hold a current Drivers License. 7. The Craft must remain between the area of the Barmah Bridge and Torrumbarry Lock and only be driven in daylight hours. 8. River Conditions- In the unlikely event of unfavourable river conditions or any unforeseen circumstances causing damage to the river craft the proprietors reserve the right to re-arrange the booking. Every effort will be made to give notice in advance in the above mentioned circumstance. 9. Boat Condition- We agree to have the boat motor and accessories in good order. We will not be obligated to compensate the hirer for loss of time due to mechanical problems during the hire period. 10. The Houseboat must be returned in good clean condition or an extra cleaning charge will be made. 11. Due to Health Regulations- No pets please. Also no firearms. 12. Car Parking space is provided at Merool Caravan Park.
